Boundaries...

Enter in by the gate that leads to life. It is not where the trumpet announces us, but it is where we humbly enter in carrying nothing with us for narrow is the way that leads to life. As we follow the narrow way we will discover many boundaries. We may weep at times at the restrictions or proclaim the way seems sterile and confining, because our hearts sometimes yearn to be free to do our own will. We may even feel like birds whose wings are clipped, and we wonder will we ever be free to fly. As we mature in God, He will take us in ways we would not have chosen for ourselves. Have we not cried out to be vessels for His honor and glory? God has taken us at our word.

Therefore the narrow way is designed by Him to make us a unique treasure. Man makes many restrictions where in reality it has been God sovereign hand upon us, letting us experience the pain that alone can bring change. When the eternal work is accomplished, we can rule and reign with the Lord. The day will come when all our sorrow is turned into joy, and we will see the life that springs out of death. All of our mourning will be turned into dancing, and all the sackcloth will be laid aside. It is always darkness before the dawn.

Psalms 19:1-3
The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament shows His handiwork. Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge. There is no speech nor language where the voice is not heard.
