Rivers of Living Water

As God’s children we will be taught, trained, tried and brought forth to be a worker in God’s kingdom. He will teach us His ways, in prayer and in His Word, and He will make us sensitive to the moving of His Holy Spirit. We will in time flow like a mighty river, deep and wide, as He brings us forth.

As children we begin learning to walk in His ways and we become a trickle of living water. But as we grow up into Him the trickle becomes a stream and then a small river. As the years go by and we continue to walk with Him, the river is deepened and broadened until all who are thirsty can come and drink from our banks. The Lord will bring us forth in His way and in His timing so that He will be glorified.

John 7:38

He who believes in Me as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.
