Chapter 1:  The Mystery of Healing
While our culture pushes quick fixes and overnight formulas, God’s program for healing and wholeness is about a relationship with Him. Genuine spiritual maturity comes through a process which takes place in the School of the Spirit.

Chapter 2:  The Gift of Pain
It is only natural to avoid pain and suffering. But these very things can be used to bring us to a place of true joy and peace if we will surrender to His working in our lives. It is possible to experience pain as a gift that can awaken and enliven us to truth.

Chapter 3:  Spiritual Alignment
Without forgiveness, lasting deliverance is impossible. Forgiveness is a daily choice for those who long to walk in spiritual health and wholeness. Cooperating with God when someone hurts us will enable us to continue in freedom.

Chapter 4:  Perspectives on Repentance
The Blame Game is one of the most popular games in town. As long as we point the finger at others, we limit God and the release He wants to bring to our lives. The difference between remorse and repentance is the difference between further captivity and the Cross.

Chapter 5:  The Deliverance Difference
We can do all the right things to affect our healing, but only God can truly transform the human mind, heart and spirit. Deliverance is God’s part in setting us free from those patterns that enslave us. Deliverance is His supernatural work in our lives – the part only He can do.

Chapter 6:  Bound in the Past
Although the Scriptures tell us that we are new creations in Christ, generational bondage can still plague us. Breaking the patterns passed down from our parents involves understanding more completely the finished work of Christ at Calvary.

Chapter 7:  Our Chief Enemy

Satan, the chief enemy, encamps around every saint in his place of greatest vulnerability, waiting to cripple him with lies. If the enemy can paralyze the saint through fear of the “what ifs” then he has won the battle for freedom. Deliverance breaks through the power of fear.

Chapter 8:  The Red Flag of Anger
Angry people are people in pain. Unresolved pain can become repressed anger or open hostility toward those we love. Either way, the answer is to discover the source of the pain and walk through steps of repentance, forgiveness and deliverance to health.

Chapter 9:  Give Your Guilt Away
A spirit of guilt can be hidden behind the lies we accepted as a child. The question that must be answered for freedom is this: Is the sin that makes me feel guilty my sin or the sin of another person? God wants to help us distinguish His conviction from the lies of the enemy.

Chapter 10:  Grief Makes Us Vulnerable
No one will escape grief and pain in this world. There is danger in allowing these times of darkness and vulnerability to cause us to doubt God’s goodness and love. Some grief is the result of circumstances and living in a fallen world. Other grief results from our own sin of disobedience to God’s way.

Chapter 11:  The Special Case of Sexual Bondage
Sexual bondage always seems like a special case. In reality, it requires the same principles of repentance, forgiveness, restitution and deliverance in order for true transformation to take place. The relational aspects, however, can be complicated and require special care in the journey toward spiritual health and lasting freedom.

Chapter 12:  Emotional Dependency
An emotional dependency happens when a relationship crosses the line of what God has intended. The complications of an inordinate tie are varied and many, but for those who want to be free, God holds the answers.

Chapter 13:  Battle for the Mind
Christians today are under attack by a spirit that rapes the mind, breaking down the conscience of man. The mind has been corrupted by demonic harassments coming from a world full of darkness. Many find themselves in bondage because they have entertained the ways of the world instead of obeying the laws of the kingdom. Jesus is the great Deliverer.

Chapter 14:  Adultery

Adultery carries with it years of pain. The innocent are hurt and the enemy whispers lies bringing depression and defeat. Families are broken and the children pay a terrible penalty. Some never do recover. God can heal, but it takes time and an honest look at oneself.

 Chapter 15:  The Secret
Incest has finally been let out of the closet and people are getting healed.  This is not a new sin, but at last it is being talked about. Those who have endured this atrocity are now finding they no longer need to carry the shame. They can be set free to live a normal life with the help of a loving God.

Chapter 16:  Jesus, Our Burden Bearer

Too often we run our lives according to our own design making decisions based only upon human logic. When things go wrong, instead of turning to the Lord, we turn to man. Life becomes more and more tangled while Jesus waits for us to turn to Him.

Chapter 17:  Staying Free
It’s easy to experience moments of liberation or change, but can these truly become a permanent part of our lives? Being a new creation in Christ is both a present reality and a process of growth. God’s part is supernatural transformation of our lives here on earth as we cooperate with the principles of His Word.
