The Lord’s desire is that we walk with Him in the fullness of our hearts. He wants to keep us so close, that we do not take detours or go astray. His desire is to fellowship with us at every turn as He changes our natural life into a spiritual life. If we should wander off the pathway, He can quickly get us back on track. God wants us to align our vision with His so our growth will be steadily increasing, taking on the character of Jesus.
His resurrection power comes when death to the natural man is applied. God is ever ready to change us to look like His Son Jesus and the key of abiding is to live in Him continually. For when we abide He can clearly lead us and guide us into all truth. Daily our ears need to be tuned in for the next step he wants us to take – the next person He wants us to speak to. When we open our mouth He fills it with His words that pierce the heart of the hearer. When we abide in Him, there is nothing He can’t do through us and we will know the joy of partnering with the Savior of our souls.
1 John 3:24
Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit He has given us.
