God is a jealous God and when we continually empty our hearts to others instead of going to Him, He will cause circumstances that allow others to fail us. We will have problems and find pain at every turn and the Lord waits for us to share our hearts with Him. He will allow our lives to be upset until we are forced to come to Him as our only help. He alone can be our answer. It takes many trials before we will automatically go to God first, but the Lord can be very persistent in His jealous love.
Too often we would rather have a false word from man than to have silence from God. Man gives quick answers, but God will give us answers when He knows we are ready to hear and obey. We are to go to God continually and leave our requests before Him. Once we have learned this lesson well, we will say, “God has the only true answers that can satisfy our souls.”
Psalms 27:8
When You said, “Seek My face,” My heart said to You, “Your face, Lord I will seek.”
