God Directs Our Paths

As the Lord trains and prepares us for ministry we do not get to pick and choose our assignment, nor do we get to say – here is the one day a week I will give to the Lord. By the power of His Spirit we will recognize that the Lord wants our hearts fully yielded to Him so that when He tells us to come or go, we will move according to what is needed for each given situation.

When we are young in the Lord we will do things according to our desires but as we grow older, God will direct our days, our ministries and our relationships.  For this kind of ministry, our selfish, self-centered ways must go to the cross. Our times with the Lord must be consistent in order to hear His voice correctly and to be strengthened for whatever He requires of us.

Proverbs 32:8
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye.
