Lasting Fruitfulness

God will pour forth His resurrection life through us if we will stay in close communion with Him. The key – we are to live  consistently in Him and produce a lasting fruitfulness. Even the smallest disobedience can obstruct the flow between the branch and the Vine. In direct relationship, the measure of death of the old nature in us will be the amount of resurrection life that the Holy Spirit can flow through us for kingdom business.

As the Lord helps us take greater amounts of territory we will see an increase of His life in us and through us. There will be times we do not understand His ways, but we are called to hold steady and to cling to Him in the difficult as well as mundane times. If we will do this, we will eventually look back and see how much the Lord has accomplished. It will be far beyond anything we can ask or think. So much of what He has achieved is done in secret that we cannot see with the natural eye. When the Lord is ready, He will allow us to have a glimpse of how greatly he has worked in us and we will rejoice at the enormity of His hand.

Romans 6:5
For if we have been united together in the likeness of His death, certainly we also shall be in the likeness of His resurrection.
